Shopping for your wedding dress with us is an experience unlike any other. Its luxurious and unhurried and its all about you. We also know that it can sometimes be a touch overwhelming simply because it is new. To help you prepare yourself and to make sure that you're relaxed before you've even walked through our door we have put together answers to the questions we are asked most often about wedding dress shopping. The time of year and type of venue have a big influence on the style of dress you will likely choose. Deciding on these important details before you start your search will make finding your perfect dress much easier & more enjoyable.
We recommend that you begin searching for your dress approx 12-18 months prior to your wedding date and that you place an order no later than 10 months before. This ensures that your dress can be produced, delivered and fitted in good time.
Don’t panic if you have less than 10 months before your wedding date as some styles can be done on a rush cut for a fee, We also have beautiful dresses available to buy off the peg and have a permanent sale rail. Please get in touch to discuss if you have any concerns, we are here to help.
We have a permanent sale rail with dresses starting from as little as £300! These dresses are ex display and have been tried on in the shop by our brides to help them make their choice. The dresses are in immaculate condition and we try and keep a good selection of sizes on our sale rail.
Once you’ve placed your order with Te Amo Bridal and paid 50% of the total balance, we will instruct the designer to begin production of your dress. All orders are final and require the remaining 50% of the balance to be paid when the dress is ready
Yes, we can store your wedding dress free of charge
For the dress itself, we require 50% of the total price before we order it. When your dress arrives with us we will invite you back to try it on and clear your balance.

As much as we love little ones at Te Amo Bridal we appreciate the care and attention they need. Babies in arms (under 1 year and not yet walking) are most welcome, but we request that there is someone there to look after them so you are able to concentrate and enjoy your appointment.
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate children in the boutique as there are pins and mirrors around as well as stairs which makes it very unsafe for children
We suggest that you only bring your nearest and dearest.
Bring people whose opinion you trust and will help you make your decision. You will never please everybody and too many opinions can be unhelpful. From our experience, having done this for 6 years it can be overwhelming & sometimes very upsetting for the bride when the entourage is too large. So on the day of your appointment we suggest choosing your companions carefully. Remember, keeping your choice of dress a secret also helps with the surprise on the day!
Yes an appointment is necessary as this ensures you have exclusive use of our bridal suite and our undivided attention. Appointments last approx. 1 1⁄2 hours
Our gowns range in sizes from size 8 to 28 so there really is something for everyone
Not until you purchase your gown. When contracting with our designers we sign that we will not allow photos until purchase is complete. We respect the work and ingenuity of our designers.
